hoosierhunter
Here's a perfect example of how the little things make all the difference. A total of two inches was the difference between me putting 340 total inches of antler on my wall this year and the current 138 I added. A single twig that deflected my arrow on a 160 on Oct 20th and the one inch sapling that prevented me from killing a 180 in Kansas. It might drive some folks crazy, but it just drives me for the next encounter. Peace with inches...........

redkneck
Don't feel bad, it's a game of miles for me, as in you know how many freaking miles I would have to drive just to see a 160 class buck let alone kill one lol.
Rhino
Yup, been there Yep...me too! Gotta look at it like a half full cup...not half empty. I don't get too worked up about the "almost got him" due to clean misses, deflections, or the ecounters with no clear shot...well after the initial disappointment anyway. Like you said...on to the next encounter. That's bowhunting!
msman825
yup been there too, I always tell my self that ( hey he will be bigger next year) after kicking, cussing, raising cain at my self. Ravin R10 man
Just remembered a 1 inch sapling I killed....it jumped right in front of that buck's vitals...great penetration, left to right was perfect! all I could do was save my arrow..broadhead is still there
