VTbrshbstr
I ended up spending the extra money and getting the Brute X Deer Thug. It is awesome! I also got a dozen Carbon Xpress Heart attack 350 arrows, True-Fire Hurricane Buckle Release, Plano case, block target, and 6 Muzzy MX3 100 gr. broad heads. Until today I had never shot with a release, peep sight or any kind of modern compound bow. After about 5 3 shot groups at 20 yards I was able to start shooting groups with all 3 arrows touching. I am extremly impressed with this bow! its very smooth and quiet. I'm not sure I would ever buy a bow from Dicks again as I was less than impressed with their customer service. but overall I am very happy. Now I just have to take my Archery safety course in April and I should be in the stand with it in October.

Burkef1
Sweet..... I was just shooting my bow 3 days ago. Then we got 3 feet of snow looks like it's going to be a while till i get to do that again. What are you going to hunt with the bow?
VTbrshbstr
Headed to pick up my new Bow in a few hours! Mainly going to be Targeting whitetails. Bear season as well as a two week fall turkey season goes on during the early archery deer season so the possibility of filling those tags exist as well but I more than likely won't be targeting them. VermontHunter
Congrats on the new bow ,,,, don't limit yourself mainly to deer. Be sure to have a broadhead or 2 in that quiver for fall Turkeys ... Here's a little footage from this fall to show you what can happen along ... be sure to watch it all, and I hope you enjoy the footage. VTbrshbstr
Headed to pick up my new Bow in a few hours! Awesome video! What kind of broad-heads are you using for turkeys?
VermontHunter
This particular hunt I used a Slick Trick 100, but a Rage 2-Blade would have been a better choice ...
