The thing about boycotting Colorado and not hunting there is that the people you will be hurting, the small town businesses, are not the ones supporting the new laws, generally speaking. It will be interesting to see the next election results. I am going to boycott Colorado this year, unless I get that deer tag I applied for, then I will go hunting.

Texas: You have a point that the "little guy" will be hurt. With that stated.... who voted for these people that passed the bill? Elections have consequences. Maybe next time some of these people that are "hurt" will think of who they vote for and what they stand for. Just my thoughts. I bet that Representive Vigil (Dem) from the district that we hunted voted for these new laws. I maybe wrong so you can look it up and correct me.

I don't remeber exactly, but I believe you can check your PP to find out if you have drawn or not. I will post the exact method when it becomes available (and when I can steal it from another thread on another site :))

Please do. I did this two years ago but can't remember the exact steps.

I didn't make Colorado last year so I'm itching to get back up there this year.

To check your pref pts go to bottom of this page: Draw Results & Preference Points | Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Enter your CID & DOB or last name, DOB, and zip code.

BTW, I understand the backlash against CO for the ridiculous gun laws we passed. However, the DPW had nothing to do with those laws, and that's who gets your license dollars. Of course, the taxes you pay on everything else while you are here get spent by the same legislature that passed those gun laws. So, like I said, I understand.

Co engineer. I understand and as I stated... I will hunt Colorado, however, only those areas where the state senator and representives voted "NAY" on this bill. Let those who vote the "yes" vote... deal with the consequences.
