VTbowman
Anyone have any experiences in the field with this call? Suppose to be a 4 in 1 type call. I bought one on a wimp yesterday at Walmart for only $4 and it sounds good but not very loud IMO. Just wondering if it reaches out there or not. Thanks. Guest ketchum
Re: Primos Hoot Flute? I love this hooter. It's not very loud, but it works well on calm days. I've had birds answer up to 400 yards.

VTbowman
Re: Primos Hoot Flute? I agree that covering the 2 holes side-by-side seems to give the best owl sound. I was just worried that it was just not loud enough. I guess some field testing is in order. Thanks for your replies!
Guest nubs
Re: Primos Hoot Flute? I have the H.S. Strut model similar to the Hoot Flute. I just can't get a good tongue roll at the end like I can with the Palmer's Hoot Tube. But it does work when I want to be more quite on closer birds.
