MS has a special youth season from March 8 - 14.

The regular MS season is from March 15 - May 1

MS Bag limit - 3 adult gobblers (only 1/day) except a youth hunter can kill 1 jake out of his 3 bird bag limit.

I'll also spend some time in MO when their season opens (below). Bag limit in MO is 2 gobblers except only 1 of them can be killed during the 1st week.

We open up April 15 here in Missouri and close on May 5 th. What time do you guys have to get out of the woods?

In MS it's open from 30 min. before sunrise to 30 min. after sunset.

As you know in MO it closes at 1:00 p.m.

I was used to hunting all day when I lived in Arkansas, I had no idea that other states only allowed you to hunt half of a day until I moved to Missouri.

MO's not the only one. As you can see in another post VT is another. I think PA is either noon or 1:00 too and last time I recall Strut10 talking about it, they couldn't turkey hunt on Sundays either.
