bowhunter97
Who all is going after thunder chickens with their bow? I am going to try it. This is also my first year hunting swamp chickens and im doing it the hard way. Not that with a shotgun is easy.
wtnhunt
Not me, they are tough enough to hunt here on our small farm with a gun and the little time I will get hunting them will probably be very limited again this season. Maybe just maybe this fall will put a little effort into fall turkey with the bow. Had hens all over me well within range last fall with bow in hand, but could not get drawn. Did not even try as there were just too many eyes.

Trevor
I will be out with my bow. This will be my third turkey season. I haven't got a turkey yet but I will hunt them hard if time permits. Good luck everybody.

KSHoytHunter
Spring bowhunting In Kansas, from 4/1-4/9, that is the archery and youth seasons. I'll see how that goes. I'm also gonna get a few days in Missouri between the end of the first week and beginning of their second week. I may break the bow out there if I have some luck early
hoosierhunter
Spring bowhunting It's not as bad as it seems if you use a ground blind. I've shot 4 with a bow and its pretty cool. Don't worry about brushing the blind in. Just pop it up and set the decoys at 5-10 yards.
dbHunterNY
as hoosierhunter said it's not as bad if you can get the birds in or have them patterned to a field or area. if you've got to run and gun then it's tough to bring a bow.
