dbHunterNY Posted March 10, 2013 Report Share Posted March 10, 2013 i don't understand why everyone thinks these people are idiots... their plans seem to be moving along nicely for them. we're getting screwed. i think more should stop the finger pointing and start doing what's necessary... voting anyone involved out of office come re-election. then if voted in office express their concern. don't complain to a buddy. take your buddy and contact the elected official and tell them you do not agree with their decisions and others will follow. Their career will then be over in a matter of a few years if they do not comply. the only reason they are there is because we AS A WHOLE voted for them. Most people who voted for them aren't dumb, they're just misinformed or not informed at all. I disagree here. If I cast my vote solely based on someone's age or height what would you call that? Those are the people who elected our current administration based on traits although different than those above, but just as meaningless. I don't believe in big govt making decisions and bailing everyone out on bad decisions. Big govt is a socialist govt. I'm a big boy and can run my own life. I just know every vote does count when trying to win an election. The elected officials holding office now are smart enough that they've gotten to this point with votes from many kinds of individuals. It's important to educate those that are ignorant in a passive, "did you know.." kind of manner, or otherwise, enough to let them see the true light. the dumb vote is counted just the same as your smart vote. as long as they get the dumb votes, there will be speculation and fear firearm related things we know of will be banned. People will continue to buy it up. Ammunition and even reloading supplies to make it will go up in price and be scarce in availability. You'll find turkey loads, buckshot, even heavy waterfowl shells are gone from shelves. As soon as the weather breaks around here I'd bet the target loads will disappear too. Only some unpopular and obscure caliber rifle ammo on the shelves. I'm sure when stock does come back the prices will be out of sight.
