wtnhunt
Thanks again for all the prayers. She got to go home yesterday afternoon. My wife took off after work and headed over to spend the night and today with her at home to help make sure things were going ok. Sure thing William. My mother had that surgery ~4 years ago. Before the surgery she was always short of breath...she's doing fine now. She had a 30 percent leakage and had circulation issues and was always cold. Hopefully the new valve will resolve all those issues. Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Coincidently I'm assigned to our cardiac unit today and for the next several weeks. It's amazing they can perform a valve replacement without opening the chest these days. Good Luck! Yes is quite amazing. Her incision was tiny, nothing like what I expected. Should make recovery much easier.
