fly
I've been shooting Bear bows since 1986. Killed a lot of deer, but never had a robin-hood. Bought me a Mathews z7 magnum in January (for 500.00 with everything you see in the picture). Finally took it to the bow shop to shoot and get the peep set last week. I shot about 10 arrows and got it close to sighted in. Went out today and had it fine tuned after about a dozen shots at 20 yards. On the 15th shot I got my first robin-hood. I know, I know, my that's cool card had been played so now I'll be using different dots for each shot. Let's see your robin hoods!
midwesthunter815
Robin-Hood (let's see them) Congrats on the Robin Hood! I got one last summer recently after getting my bow. Definitely a cool experience. I would post pictures but I'm not sure how.

Turkeygirl
Congrats! That gets expensive after awhile:-p I haven't robin hooded one complete but have blood up some nocks and the nock end of the arrows in the past...shoot individual spots so that doesn't happen again;)
Ravin R10 man
last robin hood I had was about 6 or 7 years ago...do what Ruth does, not trying to or planning on another one.
Rhino
No pics but I recall 3 I've had in the past. One on a 3D deer target when I told my buddy I was going to aim for his arrow. The look on his face was priceless! I almost always shoot different spots so I won't run the risk of robin hooding arrows or tearing fletchings up either. bowhunter97
Javent robin hooded one but last time i shot i shot the nock off my arrow at 30. I looked at it and thought "really you couldnt make my first robin hood or totally miss the arrow? You only went half way"
VermontHunter
I have a few ,, but I try not to have it happen anymore. Arrows are too darn expensive ... DANG Hoyt is always hungry ....
dbHunterNY
i try not to shoot at the same spot with multiple arrows. On rare occasions I've shot at my same arrows, and I've busted nocks. I use nock collars shooting Easton Lightspeed 3D shafts so the hole is half again as big. Seems I've kept $$ in my pocket and haven't Robin Hooded any yet. I think it's the coolest thing to display though. Some day I might go out and try to get one and then hang it up.

Have inadvertantly busted plenty of knocks, but I typically aim away from my arrows within the vitals. Will usually only shoot a group of 4 to 6 arrows at a time. RangerClay
When I switched from a whisker biscuit to my QAD drop away, I did this with the 4th arrow when sighting it in.
