too_pointer
I ordered a Tasco Red Dot for my Marlin.22. Who in here have, or have had, a red dot or something similiar ? I never had one, but sure look like alots of fun. I would like your opinions on how you like them ? I didn't spend much money on this. If I really like it, might buy a better one in the future. :cowboy: Thanks all. too_

Strut10
Have had el cheapo BSA red dots on several turkey shotguns. Have lasted 9-10 years and still going strong. Not bad for a $19.95 piece of Chinese junk. They are a 3 MOA dot, I think. Good to great for turkeys. Probably not the best for precision shooting with a single projectile. Just snagged a new Weaver red dot for on top of a turkey gun this spring. It looks like it will be a DARNED NICE sight. Have yet to mount it. It DOES have a secret hiding place for an extra battery right on the sight. SOMEBODY was thinking !!!
MUDRUNNER
I have a Tru Glow and a BSA on a couple of shotguns. I tried a scope and couldn't get used to it, so I went a red dot and love it. I may try to put one on my muzzleloader for my daughter this year.
RangerClay
I bought Tasco Pro Point red dot sight back in 1995 when they first came out and put it on my slug gun. Paid $225 for it. Now they are dirt cheap. I still use it on my turkey gun and it works great.
