awenner
My daughter just recently wanted to get into bow hunting. We got her a Hoyt Rukus drawing 25 lbs shooting Brian carbon arrows. I can't for the life of me get her grouping down enough to adjust her sights. At first it looked like a length issue fixed that still shooting all over. Tried a heavy stabi, she does torque it a bit but I have no ideas left. Ideas ?
535hunter
Try a single pin. I recently switched over to a multi pin set up and something get confused.
hoosierhunter
Youngster shooting troubles! Take it to the bow shop. Although I'm not sure how much you can expect from a 25 draw weight bow and a young kid shooting.
redkneck
Just keep her interested until she matures. Don't worry about grouping as much as just having fun and hitting the target anywhere. As she grows so will her equipment and her grouping will too. My girls just turned thirteen last August and bow hunted solo for the first year. It takes time so don't rush her. Good luck! awenner
Youngster shooting troubles! Hoosier the range we shot at for 3d is a proshop and they are stumped sai it might be her muscle development but she is drawing and holdin back in the valley with little movement
Ravin R10 man
If she is holding in the valley and not at the wall...that will throw off accurracy, because technically her draw length is always moving..
Turkeygirl
Key is make it fun for her, don't worry so much about grouping as building her confidence in hitting the target. As she grows up she'll learn how to use certain muscle and develope better form. Important thing is make it fun and enjoyable for her. Good luck! I have to agree with Martin on this one ... and her anchor point needs to be consistant as well. But as stated just make sure she's having fun ,,,,,, The rest will come in due time .. hoosierhunter
Youngster shooting troubles! I'm also not sure how much of a actual wall those adjustable bows have.
Ravin R10 man
well the valley comment, is only thing I could see from the info that was presented, that could be the problem here...also the youth may not have the correct draw lenght for that bow. In the meantime work on form and perhaps shorten the draw , but keep shooting and have fun
