Trevor
I had bought a couple of bison steaks awhile ago at our local farm market. Today we had a nice spring day so I fired up the BBQ and grilled the steaks. This was the first time my wife and I really enjoyed it. We would differently buy it again. Shaun_300
Bison is awesome! Tried some at the Ottawa Sportsmans Show a couple years ago, along with some Emu, Alligator and a couple other exotics, it was all pretty tasty!

too_pointer
I haven't ate any either. Bison, and alligator both sound tasty. Was it pretty tender ? too_
dbHunterNY
there's a bison farm not too far from here. bison is good. makes for a leaner and less greasy burger. alligator is good to but different. more like dark meat chicken.
Trevor
The bison was very tender. I grilled it with just salt and pepper. I didn't won't to marinate it in anything for the first time trying it to get the real taste. I will definitely buy some more.

Dawg
Had a bison steak while in Nebraska about six years ago. Not sure the chef knew how to cook a steak......thank God for A1 and salt. I'd like to try it again....from my own grill.
Adjam5
Ahaa! You found out what some of us already know. Bison meat tastes great. I can only get ground bison here in NY. But when I am in Texas each year...I make it a point to eat a bison steak...or two while I am down there. Good stuff.
