RangerClay
For the first time in years I went back to ebay to try an auction off a WWII military collectable I have. After getting everything set-up again I was denied posting it because I didn't have a Paypal account so people could pay electronically. Now I absolutely refuse to have a Paypal account. Is there a way to get around this or are there any other good auction sites that I could sell this thing on?
wtnhunt
I think the only way around that Joe, would be to have your account setup with it linked to your bank account. I could be wrong though.
redkneck
I sell on Ebay and use Paypal also. Never had an issue, shipped things as far away as Thailand. Did not know you could not create a seller account without Paypal though, that is a surprise. Honestly though it's the best way to go because many folks won't buy without using Paypal. Have you thought about looking at gunbroker Joe?
stevebeilgard
there are shops around who list/collect/sell for you, for generally 10%. maybe check them out. craigslist is another option. or, how about a military related auction site. i sold a 1752 busbee owned by lord elliot of the scotts greys. elliot was at waterloo. got an english military auction to sell it for me, and was quite happy with the thousands of pounds i gained.
