Burkef1
I'm getting ready to put a food plot in for deer and didn't know what kind of whitetail institute product people have had success with. One of the places I am going to put it the soil is a bit heavy (clay). I'm trying to put in a plot that the deer are attracted to in early bow season. LETMGROW
I have used many WI products and have had good success with all of them. A new seed blend called "Edge" has worked very well and might work for your situation also. Lynn
PotashRLS
I too have used many of their products over the past 12 or so years. Excellent stuff. You can call them and talk directly about your needs too.

LETMGROW
Forage Seed, Turf Seed, Wildlife Food Plot Seed, D.O.T. Seed | Deer Creek Seed I looked at their brassica seed. $245 for seed enough to do one acre? WOW! That is out of sight! Lynn
Ravin R10 man
who plant a solid acre of brassica?
PotashRLS
I have planted over an acre of brassica before. It was awesome and fed deer well into the winter. There are a ton of manufacturers out there but the Whitetail Institute began the food plot journey in the late 80s and is the grand-daddy of them all. Their products set the bar with second to none research and genetics. Great company and great people too. Did I mention that deer and turkeys annihilate their product? Love it. wtnhunt
Cannot speak for the wi stuff. Might also take a look at pennington products. Have had very good results with their seeds here. Another consideration depending on where you are would be to go with rr soybeans in which case I would suggest eagle seeds. Soybeans are a great draw here in Tennessee during the early seasons and they do well in clay soil.
