I'm sure everyone has heard the same thing over and over again about New Years Resolutions. I'm sure some of you have made some, and broke them down after 2 weeks or days after the New Year Celebration. I for one has broke down many times, bout losing some table fat.

Well, I started off running a lot drinking a few more water bottles and sport drinks, working out at our college gym and weight room, been swimming a lot in our pool at college and I must say I have seen a difference. I have been running in 3 foot of water at the pool around the 3 foot sides to build more muscle in my legs.

I started off at 250lbs and I have lost over 42lbs with healthy eating habits and a lot of exercise. So if you wanna lose weight stick with it. If I can I know you can

Before 250lbs and now 218lbs

Congrats bud. Since the middle of January when I started my diet I have dropped 30 lb. on the nose. I have started hardcore lifting weights again like when I was in high school, I haven't eaten a fatty thing or anything loaded with carbs in god knows how long now, all I eat is chicken, tuna, fish, & turkey, and I try to do at least 2 miles a day on my Gazelle.

Like you said, work hard at it and stick with it, you'll be fine

Today was suppose to be my off day of exercising but I went on Spring Break and didn't do a darn thing except have fun. Well, today I did curls and a couple more exercising with dumbbells and worked out for a total of an hour and ten minutes, tommorrow I'm gonna take a break and hit hard monday after class with a friend.

Awesome!

Sure wish I could make the time to work out like that. So far my resolution to lose weight is only a diet thing. January 1 I was 254#. Last week I weighed in at 244. Although, my buddy Tom can attest that that amounts to a suitcase coming off the Titanic, but it's a start, and I hope to step up the working out thing as soon as the weather breaks, if it ever breaks. mad.gif

I am not one to point fingers at others about the "spare tire" thing, that is for sure. If I lost 32lbs, maybe I could fingerpoint here and there, but right now, that would be like the pot calling the kettle a Titanic..........or something like that. tongue.gif

Congrats Casey and keep it up. 190 will be here before you know it!
