AJ
I did well this year. I managed to get off range oryx in December and deer with muzzy in the Gila. Maybe I can finally connect with a muley.

colorado bob
No Gila bull for the Mrs. It's a hard state to draw, in 10 years, no luck & that's with an outfitter submitting the tag.
texastrophies
Yes it is a hard state to draw in and got harder for the NR last year. In either 7 or 8 years I have drawn two tags, a third choice deer hunt that was basically a meat hunt and and rifle antelope that was good. I really considered giving up on NM last year when the NR percentage changed, but ended up sticking with it because I would really like to go after a Oryx. If you were to apply for all the critters, you are talking about tying up some serious cash for a short term, especially if you are applying for two. Right now I think I might give it up in NM, but more than likely come application time next year I will be submitting. The application game is almost as much fun as the hunts. colorado bob
I'd give up but the hunt was bought at a banquet. So it's paid for, just have to draw the tag. NM is the only other state I apply for. Colorado has everything for my needs.
