pruts
I’ve never gone and roosted birds the night before I hunted, I usually rely on scouting before the season starts. Unfortunately this year Ihaven’t had the time to do so. We open on Thursday and I have booked the day off and wantto make the most of it. If I go to roost birds the night before, how much can Iexpect to hear birds as they roost or do I have to be able to see where theyfly up? Any tips would be appreciated. colorado bob
I usually walk logging trails & owl hoot right at dusk & for about 30 minutes after dusk. They shock gobble giving you a spot to be at 1st light the following morning. Just remember---Roosted is not Roasted. Bob
dbHunterNY
it's helpful if you see them but you don't necessarily have to. also remember if you can see them, they can see you.
