Ravin R10 man
Saw one of theses at Ashleys the other day...wasnt going home without one.. I bought the demo off the local Husky shop; And does it clean the lawn!! STIHL POWER BROOM / SWEEPER - YouTube here is what it does in grass..rocks are all swept off the lawn too from snowplowing..which is what I want it for; I did in one hour what it took all afternoon to do with a hand rake. VermontHunter
Haa! Great minds think alike hey Luke? Yep ,, My aging shoulders just couldn't rake the roadside in the spring after the snow was gone. So me and my brother went halfs on the Stihl ... Best investment I could have made. Hey, you can get the pole saw attachment for this also ...

Ravin R10 man
they do make them for a skid steer..think you'd want a track machine to keep from rutting sod, and then no spin turns..been sweeping every night this week got about an hour left around the barn /yard area..did my landlord's drive and yard this afternoon..she was really happy with it too
LETMGROW
I've had the Stihl sweeper for six years now. It works great on steep banks along the road, and in ditches. I switch it back and forth with the weed trimmer head on my Stihl. I don't do the whole yard with it anymore as the lawn has grown in size over the years. A couple years ago I bought a 4' York brand tow behind rake which I drag the whole lawn with. I use my ATV to tow the rake. This loosens stone debris and old grass thatch. Then I use my 42" lawn sweeper to pick everything up with. I pull the sweeper with an older riding mower I took the deck off from. It is easier to back up with the sweeper than the ATV is. Two of us can run the sweeper and rake at the same time. The rake will clean up most of the tracks left by the ATV but the sweeper won't. I put the debris in a pile and shove it into the tractor bucket and drop it into a compost pile down in the back field. I use some gas and diesel fuel up but it sure saves on the body. All together we mow about 4 1/2 acres of lawn. My daughter lives across the road and she mows about 5 1/2 acres. With all of us working we can do both lawns well in a weekend. They seem to schedule the work weekend just before turkey season and on a weekend NASCAR is at a night race track. They have me patterned.
