LETMGROW
My son took my two grandchildren out to eat Friday night. While they were waiting for their food my son gave his cell phone to my 3 year old grandson with a game on it for him to play. When my son got the phone back the screensaver had been changed from a picture of my son and the kids on my son's snowmobile to a picture of one of the cars from the Movie "Cars". My son has no idea how his 3 year old did this or knew how to do it. It is like kids are born with a knowledge of electronic toys today. I have the 3 year old find things on my satellite dish for me. I had my flip phone for 2 years before I got the time set on it. I never would have if I hadn't sat down and read the instruction book that came with the phone. Frustrating to say the least. I still haven't been able to get the enter key to work on this forum when it works perfectly OK everywhere else. Maybe I'll have the 3 year old check this out! Shaun_300
My girlfriend's 4 year old is the same way. Gave him my S3 to play that Deer Hunter app, went back and he was on the internet looking up random stuff and he's like "Look Shaun...." LOL. Think he can operate it better than I can. RangerClay
The grand kids come from good genetics!
Jeramie
My 7 and 5 year old girls are the same way.... My 7 year old has Direct TV in her room as well as a Roku. Both of them can flip through things like crazy and know exactly what they are doing. They can also both get on the net and go to safe websites and navigate like they have been doing in for years. My oldest is reading at a 4th grade level but it still amazes me when she gets on the Kindle or something else and finds a video she wants to watch on Youtube or websites like girlgames.com. They can get ALL over the place. While I am pretty good on a computer it took me years of daily use to get there.... These little monkeys are off and running in short time! Just be sure your parental filters are on.... too much out there for them to stumble on.
wtnhunt
Dunno Lynn, but I know our 2 year old knows how to turn on and unlock our phone. He cannot even talk yet. Guess these kids grow up with technology as it comes out.

Adjam5
Funny how kids and youth take to the electronics like second nature. They grew up on it as it was being developed. Wanna have some fun with the techies....? Hide the remote to the TV...see if they can find the manual power button!
