Ohiobucks
Looks good! Help me out a little though - with whitetail buck mounts, I've noticed some taxidermist's make a deers neck look extremely muscular, with two very defined lines down from the chin to the brisket. Why? I don't recall seeing something like this in the wild. Like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of the whitetail world.

The deer forms we use all come like that but in all honest truth that muscle is there in a live deer that is in full rut. The next time you get a chance to skin out a northern rut deer look at the neck muscle structure. Deer necks are not round or tubed like, as some suspect. redkneck
Stop shooting wussy deer Tom! I like the neck details, though generally I agree you don't see them often on a buck but I've seen a few bowed up you could get a look at muscles close to that. Nice work Cliff, great work on the pheasant too.
