Tim Andrus
heres the deal was hoping to take a brusier chocolate( 450-500 lbs) that was showing up every 2 -3 days but after 2 days he didn't show switched stands ( new one btw) and at 6pm that black one showed up down wind ( I think lately all my animals do this to me lol) well he ran off but came in 5 minutes later and I sent a 12guage slug to his chest he went quite aways I think I took out only 1 lung but was happy to attach a tag to him in the end. I loved it up there awesome area desolate

Tim Andrus
Hey Tim, I'm surprised that you took the pumpkin chucker with you. How come no bow? I used shotgun, because at 20yds the shock and 1oz slug plants them in the dirt..

fly
Yea, at short range the shotgun is as effective as anything. Next time I go I'm leaving the firearms at home though. Ive got 3 with the rifle (300 ultra mag) and want to take one with my compound or crossbow.
