Warne rings for Encore

Re: Warne rings for Encore

I am using Leupold Quick Release, base and mounts on my 209x50 Encore. I have a 3x9x40 Bushnell Elite 3200 on it. I am using Medium rings. There is less than 1/8 inch between the objective, and the barrel. Not sure if the base and rings you want to use are the same total height or not, but there is no way i could use lows with Leupold hardware.

I second that! I have a Leupold 3X9X40 scope on my Encore with Warne rings/mount and the scope just does clear the rear sight. If you go with short rings you will have to remove the rear sight.

The Warne base, and Medium rings must be a LOT taller than the Leupold Q.R. base and medium rings. My 3x9x40 Bushnell Elite 3200 on the above rings and base, wouldn't even come close to clearing the rear sight! The odjective end of the scope is about 1/8 off the barrel, 3/4 inch in front of the front mounting hole for the rear sight.

Re: Warne rings for Encore

I have my scope set as far forward as possible and the front bell does clear the rear sight and is maybe 1/4" off the barrel. Don't have any Leupold bases/rings to compair with.
