Some many pictures. So much to tell. Great times. Scary times. All is well now.

Instead trying to attach all the photos to a thread. I'm providing a link to my Facebook Album. Read the comments next to the photos and enjoy.

And check back in. I'll be adding more later.

Great pics Leo...was wondering how it was you were helping with Steve..

My wife and I were up there for a visit with Steve and Connie. We were salmon fishing in his boat when he had the stroke. I piloted his boat to the nearest dock so we could get medical help. Good thing I can still operate a big boat and read a depth finder.

He is absolutely fine now but it gave everyone one heck of a scare when it happened.

Enjoyed the pics Leo...thanks for posting the link. You get an attaboy for piloting the boat in. Thanks for helping Steve.

It was certainly a group effort of making sure Steve got the help he needed. Connie sat Steve down and made sure he didn't try to move around while the stroke was happening. This was a monumental task for her because Steve had no idea nor was he capable of understanding what was going on at the time. She did spectacularly.

My wife jumped out of the boat with the tie down rope when we got to the dock. This is something she had never done before. This is not so easy with a boat that weighs over two tons. This gave me the opportunity to tie it down while she ran to get EMT's.

Then we had assistance for the ride back to Coffman Cove via boat with an EMT and Steve's friend Jerry drove Steve and Connie to Klawock Clinic an hour away. From there they ultimately were flown to the hospital in Ketchikan. The people of Coffman Cove all pulled together and were very helpful to my wife and I while we stayed at Steve's by ourselves. I can honestly say that small town of Coffman Cove has the nicest people on the planet.

I'll have to catch up to the photos, Leo. Of those I did see it looks like you had a very good time . Such a beautiful place, Alaska. I long to get back there one day. I am so glad you and the others took care of our good friend Steve in his time of trouble. It is what good people do. Very thankful that Steve is no worse for wear..
