Offered a new position! Air/Land transport!

I posted last year I got a new job in a much larger hospital, I was the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at a small Hospital and took a staff position (I'm a Registered Respiratory Therapist) at a Level 1 trauma center. We practice at an advanced level here and its been very rewarding so far. Most of my experience is in adult Critical Care, although I do have some NICU experience.

Well I must be doing something right because I've been offered a position in the transport department. I'm ecstatic to say the least! I've been involved in EMS for some time, and a volley Medic for a while now. My boss mentioned that was a big part of his decision to offer me the position, that made me quite proud!

Currently, we are present for all Neonatal transports, but are transitioning to an RN/RT configuration for all transports. We run 2 rotary wing aircraft, and 3 mobile ground ICU's. This is going to be a LONG process, it may even be close to a year before I step foot in the aircraft, but I'm definitely a gear head, and I'm looking forward to all the training. The best part is the pay raise goes into effect immediately!

ETA: Just wanted to brag a bit!
