Turkeygirl
Anyone plant anything this year? How are they doing? I have a new clover/chicory plot that looks good...a turnip plot that looks ok....and the soybeans look good except so do the weeds with them. Just picked up a bag of WGI Backwoods No-Till to plant in some spots I'm scraping up with a rake. Main thing is the apple trees in our woods which is a big draw for the deer are LOADED!:cool2:
wtnhunt
Too little time and way too much going on so far this year. Had fully intended on planting a few bags that our warden gave me last year but between weather conditions and all that has been going on just have not been able to get any ground ready. Too late for that seed now, but I would like to get in some peas and wheat near a bowstand setup in a corner. I have been able to mow our clover plots that I planted last fall I think 3 times now and sprayed them with clethodim yesterday. They will need fertilizer in a couple weeks. Other than some grasses in them, which is what I was spraying for, they look pretty good
whitetailfreak55
My spring plot took off real well and the deer were loving it. Now have to re seed it to get through the winter months. Planning on doing that this weekend
