swhughes81
Has anyone tried out these glasses and What are your thoughts on them. I know I can get the Older model on eBay for about 60 bucks. Do they do ok for what they are I have seen a lot of bad Reviews and some good but I think a lot of people that get them expect them to film like what they see on tv and I know they aren't nothing like that. I just want something that if I forget the camcorder or get in a bind as can't get it set up these are there and easy. Thanks for ur comments! SouthGaHuntingandOutdoors
I've looked into them before, the only thing that worries me about them is the quality of the video. I don't want the camera just catching me looking at my peep when drawing on a deer. I also don't want the I-kam to catch me napping either
swhughes81
I-kam xtreme Ha ha I mean it's not gonna be great video it's just a 3.0 mega pixel camera with no zoom but I think it will do the Job as far as Hangs free and easy to use and get on quick. For example Indiana squirrel season starts aug 15 I am Gonna take my 2 year old at least to follow me get Him in the woods but this way I can video him with both hands free to grab him lol or shoot a squirrel
SouthGaHuntingandOutdoors
Yeah, I'm sure having the I-kam helps when the kids are going along. I've got a.d.d when I'm in the stand, it'll probably give anyone who watches it motion sickness.

FireStation46
I have it. Low quality video. A bit hard to make sure it is recording mode. Holds a mini-sad card so you need the Sd Adapter if you want to load the video into your computer. You could aways use a cable from camera to computer. Better options out there now where you can use GOPro ( I have that too) or a holder for your iPhone that attaches to your gun or bow ( yep, have tht too!). If you really want one, check out ebay and a seller with a high rating, it may be cheaper than what Amazon is selling it for.
swhughes81
I-kam xtreme Yeah I got one on e-bay for 54 bucks it's not to bad like I said its not hd or some high grade but it works pretty good really, easy to use its like a cell phone camera but u wear it so it works for what I want it for. As for shooting bow I found if I move glasses over where nose piece is in front of left eye it will get ur shot just fine. I know they say to shoot both eyes open but it's what ur comfy with I used to shoot both eyes open but found especially in low light it was much easier to get on animal with one eye than trying to focus both eyes thru peep onto pin
FireStation46
I also removed the lenses. Looks a bit odd but I don't need a lens. I like the clear view.
swhughes81
I-kam xtreme Yeah I agree with u firestation46 I removed em I noticed they were hotter with lenses and they fogged up bad. Without em u can see better and frankly there more comfy.
deerkillr777
How far is the recording range on these? Doing some research wouldn't mind video some hunting or fishing by doing something like this???
