FireStation46
What do y'all use? I have a Vortex Sidewinder 10x42 and Nikon ex 16x50. Both nice lower end models. This weekend I will hit Bass Pro as they have a bino trade in deal. I am looking at Swarvoski CL Companion 8x30. I tried the Zeiss Conquest HD but I had to hold them too far from my face to work. So, if Bass Pro is out of stock I will also be a Buckmaster's as Swarvoski will be there. I can make the alpha verizon bins but the CL should be a good compromise. Anyone have experience with the CL or HD? p:disolve:
hoosierhunter
Binoculars The vanguard endeavor ED are great binos with high end features that cost 2-3Xs the amount.
wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. No experience with the glass you mention. I use nikon monarch 8x42's. No complaints about them for the hunting I get to do.

FireStation46
From what I read having a lower magnification will give me a wider field of view. That is good in thick woods. I have the higher powers but maybe time to step I down for a larger FOV
