Rhino
Finished going through most of the memory cards...still have one to go. Here's some pics of from the 2nd run. Some are updates of bucks caught on the 1st run. 3 new nice bucks showed up too. A few from the 1st run haven't shown up again yet. Posted 3 pics of this 12 point on the 1st run. Shows a little more growth. This 10 point is the same buck I got on the 1st run where my cam batteries died in late June. Thought from those pics he might have been starting to grow a drop tine. Turns out it's just a knot grown for some reason under his left beam. I'm sure now too this is the same buck that walked up on me during my post season scouting trip the 1st week of Feb. BTW...got him on 3 cams this time as much as 3/4 mi. apart. I'm pretty sure this is the same nice 8 point I got on the 1st run. He's stretched out his tine & main beam length now. The 10 point (2nd group of pics above) was traveling with this 11 point. His 1st show on the cams. Both of these bucks showed up for the 1st time too. It's the only pics I caught of each of them using my old Cudde. The next 2 pics are updates of a couple of the younger bucks I posted from the 1st run. They'll go on the pass um list this year. Sure we will see a pic of you holding one of those big boys antlers in a couple months, just curious which one it will be.

How long have you been managing this property, are the neighboring properties managing deer herds as well ??
Maine Hntr
Beautiful looking deer there Rhino, almost every one of them has got great tine length, that updated pic of the 12 point is impressive, tall with some junk coming off in certain spots too. Good Luck!
hoosierhunter
2nd Run on the Cams Man Al those are some great deer. The first 12 I way underestimated like we talked. He's a mid 160's and might be higher. Your 10 will might make the low 160's I could make a case to pass the 150's 8 given all the other quality on the farm. He's a beauty for sure! I'd say your 11 is the oldest buck and a great deer as well...... The 1st new 10 is 150's but those beams look about 23 given how tightly lined his tines are The 2nd new 10 is fully mature as well. The youngster has your 12 point genes in him!
Rhino
Thanks everyone...yep...looking forward to relaxing in a stand or ground blind soon up there. Also looking forward to discovering what other bucks are out there too. I suspect we'll see the majority of our mature bucks after velvet shedding...just like last year. I know we are truly blessed with the setup we have including most of our neighboring landowners having the same basic goals we have to grow mature bucks. Won't be long now. Hope to warm up the bow on a few does too.
