Straight Shooter
Well, I will get it started off, Slash from Team 4 scored as well. I had four deer come out about 15 minutes before shooting light was gone. Three Does and a decent 8 point, the buck kept going but this big nanny (125#)turned and come in for a 12 yard shot and I let the Muzzy eat. She ran about 35 yards and piled up. It made for a late night but well worth it. It was a mile stone for me, with this deer making #50 with a bow. good luck to all and be safe out there. Straight Shooter
Well, its not any more points for Team 4 but it's another Doe for the season and freezer. I shot this girl this morning, surprisingly she made it about 100 yards before dirt nap city. I hit the off side elbow, still got a pass through and heart hit but she was so dang nervous. The wind was blowing hard this morning and had her all ready wound up. Man, I love bowhunting:toot:Now it's time for antler hunting, to get a replacement for my Doe in the contest. Good luck and be safe to All.

Straight Shooter
Well, I guess I will keep posting the success thread myself:) No buck yet but did take another Doe on Thursday, the acorns are really falling here and the activity is starting to get better. I got a 5 yard shot on her, so it was a straight down shot. She made it about 100 yards before dirt nap city and making #3 on the season so far. Good luck to all and hunt safe out there. Straight Shooter
He's not a monster but antlers none the less. I had this guy come in at 10 yards this past Sunday browsing on acorns and heaidng to some scraps around my stand. I drew at one point when he was in some thick cover but he walked past an opening I had a shot through. Trying not to get detected, I slowly let my bow back down and let him do his business. After about 15 more yards, he walked even closer and right out into the shooting lane I had, stopping to feed I let him have it at 10 yards. Shooting through both shoulders, it broke him down right there. I went ahead and put another arrow in him to finish him off quickly. It was a good evening and I got some antlers for this season. Good luck to you all and be safe out there.

rhine16
My last one of the year. 35 yard bow shot, shot was back as you can tell from the pic. Ran to about 75 yards and stopped so I let the muzzleloader do back up duty.
