HunteratHeart
Last night I went and got ez fletching I believe it's called. Man it is awesome you can re fletch a arrow in 10 seconds then take it outside after cooling and shoot fist size groups at 20 yards!! This is my first year shooting a bow using aluminum arrows and its amazing the products we have available. Anything else that's good out there? wtnhunt
If you are talking about the arizona ez fletch, I had one for a very short time. Ended up having to send it back in to cabelas. Seemed like a good idea and should work well, but did not work very well for the arrows I tried it with. I even called them and the people in their customer service were great, but it just would not get my vanes fletched to my arrows consistent. Ended up paying more and getting a bitz jig. HunteratHeart
i just looked at mine and they are the quikfletch that you can get at wal mart. All you do is boil water and stick arrow in water after sliding the fletching piece where you want it and just hold it there for 10 seconds pull out and your arrows are re fletched. It is really cool. They stay on well. I had a pass through on my target today and the fletching stayed on and it didn't warp the fletching. dbHunterNY
they work plenty well enough. don't leave them in for too long... some turn brittle from too much heat. also make sure you push the nock end onto the shaft good and get it seated well before dipping them in slowly. if you don't you may find the wraps shrink up and end up at slightly different distances from the nock end of the shaft. ......I've got the arizone mini - ez fletch jig WtnHunt is talking about it works well enough for me. HunteratHeart
ez fletching product Well I didn't spend a lot of money on fletching for my compound bow cause its a old bow and this is my first year actually getting into it
WStreblo
ez fletching product When I first got into archery and was doing everything on my own I really didn't care about the vanes... As long as there was three with an off color I'd shoot them. Once I started to extend my range and shoot constantly I started to fine tune everything and anything archery. No longer was I happy with 3in groups I would only settle for arrows so tight together you'd be hard pressed to find any wiggle room. So like dbHunterNY mentioned if your using the Quickfletch take the time to ensure each arrow is set up identical. Any defects or problems with a wrap cut it off and do a new wrap. I think I can speak for most of the people in this forum in saying that once you start into the world of compound bows and arrow your first one you will become an archery addict like the rest of us. **** bent on speed, the thrill, the challenge, and the brotherhood of bow hunting. Good luck this fall buddy.
