The Bug House Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 My son and I were putting our Kayaks in at a local pond the other night to do a little fishing, and as I'm unloading I notice a pair of Bino's sitting on a rock. We were the only ones on the whole pond, but I left them untouched. Pulled out a few hours later and they were still there. I went back the next night and there they were, so I grabbed them. When I got home I realized they are NICE! Swift brand, I priced them new at $469! I posted on facebook, and placed a "Found" sign where I found them, but nobody has claimed them yet. Asked the landowner if it was his he smiled and said it was but that he left it there on purpose to see if id be honest and attempt to return it. He gave me the hundred bucks even tho I protested and he said it was for putting a deer in his freezer. Dawg Posted September 9, 2013 Report Share Posted September 9, 2013 Found a wrist compass and a duck call on the edge of some backwater down in the river bottom.......15 yards later I saw what lead them to fall out of the hunters pockets. He musta had a bunch of chili the night before... Found a brand new aluminum arrow with a 3 blade broad head attached propped up against a tree. OKstate Posted September 9, 2013 Report Share Posted September 9, 2013 I found a climbing stand while I was turkey hunting a few years ago..... the harness was on the ground underneath and was all torn up... Im guessing the guy either fell out or was in a hurry to get away. I put it in the barn, but never got a phone call so I assume the trespasser never came back. rbduck Posted September 14, 2013 Report Share Posted September 14, 2013 Was hunting grouse a few years ago and while walking through some bush I stood up under a poplar tree and cracked my head on a huge rusted horseshoe hanging in the tree.
