Right on Tyler, congratulations on the doe.

I skipped hunting yesterday on account of rain, and I mean we got a tone at about 4:30 just about the time I'd have been getting up.

Not going to be out the next couple of days and then I'm off on wednesday for ten days moose hunting. I'm pumped and can't wait to get to camp.

Good luck everyone.

Do you hunt the same stand every time you go out Whitetail?

If the question is directed at me, then the answer is NO. I have 12 different stands and hunt them according to wind direction (first), time of day that I am hunting (second) and then the deer that I am seeing in that area. I will not hunt a stand if wind direction is not optimum.

good luck to all

I'm kinda lucky in that I am a DVM. Most of my beef and dairy clients give me archery access to their property, if I ask. Currently on about ten farms and always looking for different locations. After so many stands I think that maybe I spread myself "thin" and second guess where I should be hunting.

I have only a couple stands, each on a different farm. One is a small bush maybe only 20-30 acres, but it seems to heavily traveled by deer moving from one bigger bush to the other. The second is much better for gun week due to it's location in a cut that was made for a pipeline to pass through the bush, I got just over 100yrds to either end. That bush is much larger, over 100 acres easily.
