Team 7

Y'all go with whatever name suits you. Some of you know this, but I thought last season would be a big year for me, only to find out ten days into season that I had cancer. The rest of the season was a wash after a month of surgery recovery and then 4 weeks of radiation treatments during the middle of the rut.

I'm excited about this season. I do have one part of my CPA exam left to pass, plan to take it October 15ish so the first two weeks of my season will be slow but after that it's on.

I only bowhunt, but a doe won't be a problem, and if I play my cards right, hopefully this is the year ill arrow a big buck

Team name doesn't matter none to me..... at the end of the contest, they'll just be calling us 'The WINNERS' anyhow, lol.

Rhine, good luck this season! Getting through that has gotta give you a whole new perspective on things! Enjoy every season like it could be your last!

Hoosier- smoke one of them big ol' studs you're known for! The quality you get always impressive to me!

Trevor- it's all in fun man! Do your best and enjoy the hunt..... try to shoot a biggun though!

bowhunter- shoot straight my man... that's a ll I got for you right now!

I've got a ton of pics of some decent NY bucks this summer but I still haven't found that one jaw dropper.

I still got two weeks to catch up to one..

Went out after work tonight and got one stand up. I just got permission to hunt a new piece of land down the road from where I currently hunt. So on Sunday my brother in law and I are going to walk the property and look for a good place to put a stand and a camera. The land owner says he sees lots of deer out on the field at night so should be a good spot.

Went out today and walked the new property. I think it has lots of potential to hold some deer. We found deer trails and fresh tracks every where. The woods is completely surrounded with soybeans.

So we cleared a area to put up a stand and pruned up some branches and will put up a stand on Wednesday. I'm pretty excited about this new spot.
