hoosierhunter
I'm about to go battle to rain here. I'm not looking forward to it, but sometimes the big boys feel comfortable in weather like this.

fly
Haven't seen a deer the past two times I went out. Cam pics are mostly at night. Not a buck on camera for a couple weeks now. Will get out a few more times before the season ends.

I'm headed to Kentucky with my 11 year old son for the free youth hunt this weekend. My sons buck was back from the taxidermist just in time for Christmas. rhine16
I've been trying fellas. We're in the lockdown phase of the rut here. Seeing fawns walking around alone, young bucks cruising and an occasional chase.
bowhunter97
Had a doe an a button buck come in right at dark yesterday and had a doe or button buck come by this morning to early for me to see what it was. Then had a big buck for florida come out at 120 yards and he saw/ smelled something he didnt like but he wasnt looking at me and he turned and ran off. So they are moving its just a matter of time before i close the coffin on one.

Trevor
Well I'm done now too, I hunted tonight and didn't see a single deer. I know it's only in fun but I'm sorry I couldn't help the team total. This is my 3rd bow season and still no deer to but a tag. I still enjoyed every minute in the woods. Good luck if you are still hunting.
bowhunter97
Well i would have had one for us tonight a nice half rack 8 but he came in quick and shot him a little further than i though he was and he ducked my arrow. So i guess nothing for me.
hoosierhunter
I'm still out looking for Mr right. I went to a new farm in a great area tonight but only saw a 110 inch 2 year old.
hoosierhunter
I had a great night last night! I was looking for a specific buck that I wanted to get a good look at. He showed up after being on stand for 10 minutes! He's a beauty to see in person. One problem, he's just 3.5. I'm super pumped as I think he will be a stud next season. He's probably in the mid 140's now. I know it seems nuts to some to pass deer like this, but you can't kill great deer if you take them out before they show their potential at 4.5. Even though I haven't punched my buck tag, I've had a great year. I still will be hunting until January 31st, but chances are I won't upgrade. We got a couple feeders out last night on farms we have shut down for the season. The winter has been cold so far and getting really nasty in the coming week. The deer need all the help they can get. Stress is one of the worst things for antler development and I'm hoping the weather doesn't continue. Come on warmer weather!!

Trevor
Real nice buck Hoosier. Hope you get to see him next season. Wish I was still able to hunt but our season is now closed. Good luck everybody.
