The IL season ends this Sunday and I'm working a lot this week. Will get out for one last crossbow hunt before the season ends because you never know! I shot my first coyote last Saturday so I feel I made a small contribution to increasing deer numbers in my area next year. There is a pic in the varmint room if you want to see it. A pretty big male for my area weighing 33 pounds and measuring 36 inches (nose to tail base) and a 15 inch tail.

I got this buck on camera a couple weeks ago. I've never seen him before. He's broke up some but should easily score in the 140's next year.

I want to thank everyone for the encouragement and being a part of the best team on the forums!

Frank

Fly congrats on your first yote. I never seen one around here in the woods but see the odd one dead on the side of the road. That's also a great looking deer , good luck on your last days of hunting. Wish I could still be hunting but I'll just have to wait till October. I also thought we had a great team just wish I could have got my first deer and but some points on the board. Maybe next season :)

Fly he will easily be 140's next year and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes as high as 160.

My season is about up. I somehow moved my peep up about 1/2 inch and air mailed a doe at 23 yards two nights ago. That was a surprise, it looked like I shot her for about 80 yards it was so high!

Most of my bucks have shed already which is very early around here.
