I guess you will get what you get. Tomorrow would be even worse. I've planted before well after I really should have and had good and bad luck. That is the limiting factor now. Just plain luck.

We could have a hard frost any night now or it could hold off for three or four weeks.

I hope it works out for you. I'll know about the same time as you.

Man we must be over seeding we put 40lbs of wheat, 40lbs of rye, and 50lbs of oats per acre. We also throw a small amount of winter peas, clover, and turnips just because. The big problem we have are the birds eating all of our seed before the first rain.

Yep, especially if you have crows or turkeys around. And they will continue to hammer them even after a rain and after your seed germinates, they will eat the sprouts.

I just recently planted about roughly 1/6th of an acre and I put in 9 lbs of peas and about 15 lbs of wheat, the peas were the primary seed I was planting, wheat was just a cover/filler.

Well I know its not to late now.....we had 2 plus inches of rain here yesterday....I went out and over seeded on Friday there was no growth from the other seed yet.....just took a drive to calm down after the Giants sucking so bad.....and WOW I have 3 inch sprouts in all 3 plots....looking good
