Kind of off subject of which bow is the best, but I heard that the 2014 Hoyt premier bow is going to end up being the carbon version of the Spyder. I hope they come out with a few other new designs as I am not all that impressed with their Spyder. Hey Todd have you shot the Carbon Knight?

Truth is, having a thin skin will get you nowhere in life. But, the greater truth is that when it comes to archery, Bear is the manufacturer to keep up with. Steer clear of the hype and pick a bow you can shoot well and feel comfortable with. A well placed, sharp, broadhead and the deer will not know the difference. Now, back to the game.

Wstreblo don't choke on your dip, dry your tears and realize bowtech is just better. It will be ok.

I will have you know I didn't choke, my buckeyes pulled it out. As for drying tears.... There is no need. I've noticed that since you've joined the bowtech darkness my good buddy Todd hasn't been flipping his lips nor has bowhunter97. It's become more of a me vs you here with everyone else watching.

To be honest if there was no Hoyt I'd be shooting bowtech. But... That's not the case. What Hoyt did you shoot? There are some Hoyt bows that I can't stand to shoot either. You might have just got ahold of one that didn't sit well... Bet you'd never admit it.[/quote

Glad you didn't choke lol. I shot the rampage xt nice bow but just didn't care for the fit. I also shot mathews bear and pse but my best fit was the bowtech. When I bought my bow I did a ton of research and set out to shoot as many as I could. I got lucky having such a long draw length and having the strength I can shoot most any bow.

Yes, I wrote up in TG's 2014 about it. But I just don't like the bow. All other ( to my knowledge) carbon bows are on the higher end of the price range and I believe bowtech wanted to put out a carbon bow in the mid prices, to IMO, bring in more buyers who wanted to buy a carbon bow but didn't want to drop over a grand. You can but the carbon knight for $700, rigged out for $900.

But my take on the bow itself, doesn't feel solid in my hand and it doesn't have the flex guard, it has cable slide. And it doesn't have the binary cams. That's why I for see a carbon version of the Experience. The Experience has a smooth draw cycle that would compete with the elites, and a very solid back wall. The advertised let off is 80%, and we all know bow company's like to exaggerate that, but the experience has 80%.

In the carbon knights defense I have never liked the feel of a carbon bow , they feel cheap in my hand.

I am interested to see what the flagship bow will be for 2014.
