Clothing For Bowhunting

Don't underestimate the warmth of a vest. For the 40-50 degree mornings, I wear a cold gear under armor with a vest. Can leave the vest off walking to and climbing in your stand and then put it on.

Also just a good camo hoodie should work for those temps. I have two under armor ones that I'll wear occasionally.

I need some advice on jacket that'll keep me warm in mid-low 40's weather but I don't have to layer up so much because I'll be shooting a bow. I would like to not get over 100-110 bucks but I need some ideas. Scent lok? Scent blocker?

Go online and check out preditor gear. They have some super quiet and warm gear very lightweight.

I wear what I can find on sale - currently an under armor t-shirt that came with the Tough Mudder Run I did last month, a black cotton hoodie and a light camo cotton zip up jacket I got for about 20 bucks. Pants are camo and from walmart 19.99. As Straight shooter said - I play the wind and save my money. I have cold weather scent blocker clothing but the deer smell me just the same as anything else.

I decided to go with a scent lok mayhem jacket in realtree xtra of course. I know its a little pricey at 150 and may sound like a stupid idea but i love the jacket it is made exclusively for bass pro and it has an offset zipper for bow hunting so the jacket doesnt stick out infront of you. I am just going to save up a little and get it. I'll put up some pictures later of one so you guys can see what im talking about.
