Someone said I ought to post some pics of it when I get it in place. So we went up to my land and spent yesterday trenching in a 110 volt line to it for an electric heater. Got that done and working and then took the chain saw and cut some better shooting lanes through the trees. I brought the camera with me and snapped a couple of pics. The stand sits on the rim of an old mined out gravel pit. I keep a couple of food plots in there. Max distance you can shoot is about 225 yards. Kind of over kill but it will be nice to hunt in a blaze orange shirt instead of being so bundled up against the cold that you can hardly move. My fiancee is excieted about it too. She's never been hunting but is looking to spend some time in it with me this season. 4 weeks from yesterday we'll be in it. PS I hope there aren't any electrical inspectors in the group here. We did a nice safe job of wiring and put the wires in 3/4" schedule 80 PVC conduit but only buried it about 10" deep. That's all the deeper my 1 bottom plow would go.
