HunteratHeart
Hey guys just checking up to see what's working this year. What are you doing that's helping draw your bucks in during shooting hours?
MNhunterr
Play the wind right and set up in a transition area between his bedding and food. Right now that's all thats on a deers mind - FOOD FOOD FOOD! They are preparing for the Rut/winter. If you can set up between bedding and food, you will have great success. Ravin R10 man
Nothing is working, but then one must have bucks to bring in first...addressing the over abundance of wolves would be start
Rhino
About the only thing we're doing to "help" draw them out during legal shooting hours is to minimize disturbance so they don't realize they're being hunted. So far I haven't seen a mature buck while hunting. All the ones seen by hunters on our place have been during the afternoon at food sources and only when the weather was cool. So far no one has launched an arrow at a mature buck...yet. Hope to get a chance real soon.
RangerClay
Take all of your hunting clothes and put them in a large storage tub with the lid on. Lift the lid a crack and spray an entire can of buck bomb into the tub.
drkillemquick
How do you like the buck bomb? Hoping to find some around here to try this year?
HunteratHeart
Buck Success? I've had a shooter buck come in twice, but no shot opportunity. I rattled him in first time then second he came in with doe and snort wheezed at me. Bucks necks are getting big and making scrapes in my area
