hoytman62
Can anyone tell me how they use the Doe Estrus Scent? What they use it with and where they put it out? Thanks for your input....
hoosierhunter
Doe Estrus Use Tests have shown that mature deer react better to buck urine in scrapes as opposed to estrous doe urine.
jbeck
I put it on an unscented tampon and drag it behind me when I walk to my stand, then I hang it 20 yards upwind of my tree stand. I only use this for a few days when bucks are cruising looking for that first ready doe. I use buck urine far more throughout the year like Hoosier said. Ravin R10 man
I will use it on a drag rag to my stand, hang it in a tree, then doctor up a scrape with dominate buck
Rhino
I don't use scents much. Most people I know use it on drag rags. A friend of mine would cut a hole out of the top of a 35mm film canister, but a rock inside along with a ball of cotton with doe estrus in it. He'd either chunk it or use a sling shot hurdling it out toward the downwind side of his stand. That's during the MS gun season.
Ozawa Swiji
These bachelor groups can be just two that seem to hang together to four or six bucks, or even more. Come mid August, the shortening duration of daylight triggers changes in the whitetail deer’s behavior. They become less tolerant of other bucks and establish a pecking order through sparring.
