HunteratHeart
Hey guys in honest opinion what do you believe is the best bow on the market today. Aside from company if every bow was made by same company which bow would you have labelled number 1?
MNhunterr
There is no "number one bow" on the market. Every hunter has their preferences and it depends soley on what feels comfortable to them.

Rhino
To be honest, I can't say either. There's quite a few I haven't even seen. Even the gurus that rate them can't agree.
HunteratHeart
best bow on market Ok haha if you had to pick one. I wanna see where everybody is at. Cause I'm looking into buying my first bow in February after taxes come back. Right now I'm liking the carbon line up from Hoyt, but heard a lot bout Mathews, familiar with Bear, and been referred to Bow tech.
Rhino
OK for grins checked a few sites. One rated the Hoyt Spyder 34 the best...another rated the PSE Dream Season DNA the best. From there googled this up...video reviews of a lot of them you can see for yourself. Bow Review Best Bow 2013 - Bing Videos In all though...it breaks down to what feels best for you from the archery shop where you can pick your bow. Also, for what it's worth, the archery shop I deal with handles Bowtech. Doesn't handle Hoyt, Mathews, PSE or some other well known bows. I shoot a Bowtech Invasion. I don't like the feel of the Insanity. I don't like the new light weight bow they came out with this year either. My closest hunting buddy shoots a Mathews Creed. He loves it. He was shooting a PSE last year & for him, the Creed is a better bow.
smha6784
best bow on market Before you buy a carbon bow I would defiantly shoot it. IMO they feel weird in my hand when shot. Can't explain it. If I were to buy a New bow rite now it would be the Bowtech "Experience" Although I have an eye out for a "Destroyer 350" just cause I want one lol I am hearing a lot of locals rave about the new Elite line up. HunteratHeart
best bow on market Same here I'm hearing a lot about elite. Also asked a few big archers that I went to high school with that were top guys on shooting team shooting Mathews and they said if they could get a we bow it would be hoyts carbon element. I know I couldn't go wrong with Hoyt or Mathews because those are top names. Bear and bow tech too.
Tony
i shoot a Hoyt Carbon Matrix and i love it. it feels completely dead in your hands when it goes off. i bought mine in 2010. i sure wish bow manufacturers would make some hunting bows a lot longer ATA. all this 34 inch and under ATA stuff is frustrating. hoosierhunter
best bow on market I shoot an elite but it's the GT500 from 2010. I've yet to find a now I like better. Prime has a nice bow as well. Is steer clear of carbon as I don't feel the added cost is worth a few ounces of less total weight...

HunteratHeart
best bow on market I just want a lifetime bow. The bow I will buy will have to last a few years cause this guy right here is poor lol
WStreblo
best bow on market The best bow on the market depends on the guy looking. If you like a heavy bow, then the carbon lines won't be on your list. Some guys like a fast bow while others like a bow that might shoot slower but is 3 times quieter. Shoot as many as you can and you will find the best bow.

dbHunterNY
yes but you have to be serious about buying one is all. there is no best bow without telling about the specific person that will shoot it, how you'll hunt with it, and what you'll be hunting. I've got some questions for you.... have you shot a bow before much at all? how old are you? how tall are you?

I'm a serious rookie but shoo everyday and gotten good. Hit a bottle cap at 20 yards the other day. Highlight of my life lol. But the bow is heavy and I 50% let off.
