arrow32 Posted October 29, 2013 Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 Friday they did a quadrupial (sp?) Bypass. It went fine. But then saturday night at 4 am his heart stopped. They had to reopen the chest and they got him back. But saturday after I got in from hunting and skinning my deer I got a call saying it wasn't good. He wasn't in goos enough shape to move to see if he had any brain activity after the orseal. I went down to be with my brother (my cousin). We aint the talky type but by body language I knew he was hurtin. My aunt was with him talking to him and praying for him to wake up. Thats all that could really be done. Honestly all hope was lost at that moment. It was just like someone tough as nails was loosing Not an hour later the nurse came out and said he opened his eyes and was pinching her fingers with both hands and moving his toes what a relief. There is still something wrong but there not sure what an infection or something they think. They know the heart is good. The doctor who done the surgery has been there day and night and doing everything he can. Some people really do care and it makes you feel like everything is going to be fine.
