pointing_dogs_rule
Considering a trip to northern Wisconsin for grouse. I have a very good pointing dog and I have never hunted grouse before. Where do I find them and what are the populations like? Thanks in advance. PotashRLS
I heard that the populations are down near us. There is a lot of public ground to pound though. The National Forest and County Land usually has a better logging history thus holding more birds. Our gun deer season starts on the 23rd of November and I can tell you that between now and then the woods is going to be like a zoo. PM me if you want more info. for Northeast Wisconsin.
