Randy
Avery took this buck the second day of the youth season. We had seen this one a couple times prior and knew it was living there. It finally came out with daylight running out. I had to tell him no about 17 times as every doe that came out prior to this buck he wanted to kill. Now, I think he's thanking me... wtnhunt
Congratulations to Avery. Real nice buck. Don't get results quite like that but can definitely relate to encouraging a kid to hold out.

Randy
Crap what did that thing weigh? It was a 3 1/2 year old only 15 1/2" inside. But if I had to guess I'd say it was pushing, 200# dressed. It was a big deer. He is 13 now. I believe that was his 11th deer so far, and his fifth buck.
