jesse8953
I'm looking to buy a autoloader before next waterfowl season. Any opinions on brand and model? I'm open to any suggestions except a Mossberg! Has to shoot 3 1/2 mags not that I use them a lot but want to have that option if I need it. Strut10
Winchester Super X2 or Super X3 !!! Have one of each. Both are 3 1/2" guns. Both are OUTSTANDING autos. Buy either one and have $500-$700 left over for ammo for what you'll pay for a Beretta or a Benelli.
colorado bob
Jesse, if I were you I would head to Cabela's in Wheeling & handle all of them. Throw them up to your shoulder, pick the one that feels right. Fit is the most important when it comes to a shotgun. They all are reliable. Leo
Winchester Super X2 or Super X3 !!! Have one of each. Both are 3 1/2" guns. Both are OUTSTANDING autos. Buy either one and have $500-$700 left over for ammo for what you'll pay for a Beretta or a Benelli. Good suggestion. The X2 is almost the same gun as the Browning Gold 3 1/2. In fact some of the parts (not all) are interchangeable. Great gun. Besides the X2 and X3. I would also suggest a Browning Silver or Beretta 391. LETMGROW
About the same price range is the Remington 11-87. Very smooth. The Mossberg 935 is a great gun for the price. The sky is the limit on shotgun prices. You'll have to determine your limit and go from there. This is worse than car shopping. Handle as many as you can in your price range and decide for yourself. If you were looking for a low priced economy car you wouldn't start out by test driving Cadillacs. Lynn
jesse8953
thank for all the suggestions.I'm a Remington fan {I was raised on remingtons} Im used to my 870 so shouldering it will be about the same. I won a auction on gun broker Friday for a 11-87 super mag all black.$381+$35 shipping and $20 weapons transfer.$436 total. If I like it I might have it dipped. I would say you did very well. 11-87 is a great choice. The camo stock for the 11-87 isn't all that pricey. You might consider it as opposed to having it dipped.
