hoytshooter09
I have had that happen in the same stand twice in one year got in stand looked up and here comes a 140" 8 at 30 yards he turned and never seen him again but earlier that year I lowered my bow had my pack on then looked up and there was 2 does 30 yards com in to me that one I was able to pull my bow up and shoot a good doe but fun hunts none the less. DamonZ8
That happened to me a couple times. Once I was heading to the land I hunt and the road was closed with no previous warning. That made me 25 minutes late to my tree. I was 8 feet up the trunk in my climber when he came by and bolted. Another time, I was all the way up a tree and a nice buck followed my bow as it ascended up the tree on its rope. Then there's the time I was texting my wife my GPS coordinates at the base of a tree and I got busted by a nice buck. I always send her my cords in case I don't show up at the end of the day. You hear horror stories all the time. I always wear my harness but who knows.
