swhughes81 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Share Posted November 13, 2013 Ok I got this 50 acres to hunt now it's mostly timber with a couple bigger fields in the bottom that are green grass but u can see houses and the road from most of those. Im going in friday to hang a stand for saturday morning its not been hunted legally anyway for 10 years To the far west of the property and this is Me only looking at google earth there is a small probably 1 acre green field in the timber. It's about 60 yards from a big cut corn field. I was thinking this may be a good place to put a stand at edge of green field it looks like it's pretty flat but then back into woods to the east it drops off to a creek Just from knowing the area around it When I go Friday ill only have a very brief chance to hang stand and scout cause of work schedule. With just looking at google earth was just wondering what u guys thought. Should I just hang edge of green field where u can tell they are entering it?
