Trevor
She killed a lion and now all the animal rights people and tree huggers are bashing her. What are your thoughts. http://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CAwQqQIoADAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.inquisitr.com%2F1036991%2Fbig-game-hunter-melissa-bachman-bags-big-cat-controversy-posing-with-slain-lion%2F&ei=jmuNUuSaCMm2qQHih4CgDw&usg=AFQjCNF6-2I0y6CA3jD15IPd-3n8COzAmQ
newbie76
I believe if she did it legally then let her be! A friend posted it on FB and I commented and started a huge debate...
hoosierhunter
Melissa Bachman lion hunt A hunter is a hunter regardless of what game. My thought is Wayne Parcelle should choke on his veggie burger!
dbHunterNY
just anti-hunting folks with no morals singling a person out and trying to tear them down. look at the picture of her with the lion, that is supposedly horrible. it's one of the cleanest nicest pictures I've seen. eyes are closed, no blood, bodies dry and clean, and she's posing behind it rather than pulling on it to hold a head up or something. my thought is the more you post and talk about it the more it'll keep the idea alive of her being under fire. I don't know her, but we as people are innocent until proven guilty and there's no proof she's done anything wrong I've seen.
Ravin R10 man
Good for her! The money she paid for the hunt will no doubt HELP keep the endangered animals from poaching, and keep the lion herd in check. Antis have NO clue! abrown
Good for her! The money she paid for the hunt will no doubt HELP keep the endangered animals from poaching, and keep the lion herd in check. Antis have NO clue! EXACTLY!! How much money do you think ANTI-HUNTERS pay to preserve our wildlife for the future? NONE! No telling what she paid for that tag, and how much that helps the local economy! ANTI-HUNTERS are uneducated, Pittman-Robertson Act, license sells, how do they think wildlife is managed! Conservation, not preservation! How many anti-hunters are out studing why the bobwhite quail populations are down, or the praire chickens are declining SO rapidly! I have a pretty good guess and its on one hand! I was working a booth at the Kansas state fair two years ago, and PETA was there, thought it was pretty bold of them to have a booth where the fassion statement was camoflouge! RangerClay
I've seen this and it makes me sick. Lions are shot all the time, I cannot understand why her lion was so special. Add in the fact that President of the country denounced the hunt but is willing to take in all of the license and permit fees is all wrong. No one ever said the anti's were smart Dan She did nothing wrong. Just another way for the media to muddy up the water regarding hunting. Turkeygirl
To each their own, if they are proud of what they shoot, kudos. But I change the channel whenever there is a show on and they are hunting African animals like that - lion, zebra, elephant, etc...or it's obviously a penned area full of whitetail....I don't support that kind of hunting...it's just me. I also believe you should eat whatever you shoot...
Ravin R10 man
Kinda with ya on that Ruth...Africa does not intrigue me at all...but Im not going to bash a hunter for doing it..just not my deal
