fbcoach39
I got access to a new plot of land and have not had a chance to scout. It has pines with sage grass with hard wood hollow running through the middle. I also have creek that runs through the area and about 25 yards from that spot is a very steep bluff. I am thinking this could be a nice funnel for the deer. I guess my question is do deer like to bed along creek banks that are thick even though there is high ground around it? hoytshooter09
Around where I live the only time I see deer bed by creeks are if it is a large creek bottom and lots of grass but I have a few areas kinda like you described if its a steep enough bluff they will bed there even on the bluff just depends on cover. IMO.
